A low maintenance garden for the whole family

This large, family garden was in need of a total transformation. We delivered a beautiful, low maintenance garden that's a joy to be in for both adults and children. Raised beds, built in seating, and a stunning new deck formed the basis of a grown up entertaining space. While the addition of a hidden, wooden playhouse and artificial grass created a functional, year-round play space for three young kids.

Small spaces

This area was never used by the young family who had moved in. Using clever shapes and a simple pallet we made it feel like an oasis they could grow in to and with. The pleached trees and fencing created a total private feeling.

Grown up garden

This family has grown older and needs more private spaces and entertaining areas than a scraggy lawn. A very simple design with a large area of hard landscaping is delightfully softened by a generous planting area to wander through out to the back garden office.

Car park to nursery.

What was once a desolate carpark is now a gorgeous nursery garden, full of delight and inspiration. Pleached trees were used to form a natural sound barrier from the busy, outside world. A small, green hill was landscaped to give children a fun space to explore. And an unloved courtyard was turned a tropical, dinosaur haven.

Enjoying every spot.

What is a very small space, left after building works, was totally transformed into a chic bright area worthy of being framed. Raised beds with low maintenance planting and lots of seasonal bulbs. Each area has some storage involved allowing the space to remain clutter free and on show.

Notthing Hill rose garden.

An urban cottage rose garden in Nottinghill. Some lovely pieces including 8 David Austin roses and plenty of perennials for year round interest.

Building mayhem

Clean lines and a crisp look was wanted to work with a new extension. Raised planters were stepped to give more interest and a bench placed at the back of the garden to entice people out the house.

Materials and shapes.

This was always going to be low maintenance for a busy professionals garden in Brixton. But using different materials and shapes we managed to create something really show stopping.

Designing for children.

Another nursery but this time more nature, which I loved. This project was done in very long drawn out stages but the ongoing fantastic response from the children and teachers made it all worth it.

A swing seems to make any garden perfect.

A wonderful oasis under an ancient oak tree allowed full opportunity to create a stunning shady garden with separate entertaining areas. Lightening the canopy of the oak tree made it possible for a shade tolerant lawn with a beautiful handmade large swing.
